ugh. i'm terrible at this. :(
homework has started to pile up... it's rush this week. when i have time i will describe more about that because it deserves more than a quick upadate.

College weekend.
It is Saturday and I am doing nothing... I'm sure one day I will appreciate this :)
Despite how hard classes are going to be, I am really excited for things to get moving. I am ready to talk to people in classes and have connections with people.
Yesterday was a good day. Zach took me shopping at the art supply store and helped me save a TON of money. Gary came with us and I frickin' love him. He is so nice and funny and not bad to look at either. I'm sure he will be around more. We then went to Salvation Army and got clothes for the hoedown. I bought a plaid shirt for 2 dollars and it is actually sort of cute... ( don't judge me)
I went to Ann Arbor that night to see Devin's show. The whole family was there and it was awesome to see everyone. I love my cousins and have the best times with them. Devin was hillarious and had the whole audience laughing. After the show we went to a bar and had dessert since Molly, Aaron and I went to Potbellys before for dinner. Molly took me home, I got my country gear on and then went to the hoedown. It was fun but there was a lot of people throwing up all over the place. I was only there for about 3 hours then Zach and I went home. He was HAMMERED. funny.
Today I got some things accomplished. I did laundry, did my english homework, and started cleaning. I got everything done so I could go to the club tonight but now we are not going so I am going to be bored all night. I wish I was better friends with people. I skyped with Jimmy, Oak and Zach today. It was interesting. Things have definitely changed over there. I do miss them though.
Tomorrow I will probably go to church, finish up my homework, and veg. out. I want to go see The Final Destination so maybe I'll see if people want to go to that tomorrow.

Summer is over
Hey Hey. Things have been going pretty much the same since my last update. There was another frat party on Monday bwahaha. It wasn't as crazy as the first one. We actually left around 12:30 (early lol) I met some more people though and got to know some of my freshman better. I really don't have any girl friends here. Though, the guy to girl ratio is 7 to 1. I feel like I am so alone at times but I have to realize that I JUST moved in so I'm not going to know everyone and have a ton of friends like back home. I have a lot of potential friends though, just not any I'm close enough with yet to call up. But like I said.... week 1.
Tuesday was another day of freshman orientation. I decided to actually go this day, which ended up being a mistake. I stayed probably an hour then left. Jerry from Ben&Jerry's Ice Cream was the speaker at the convocation and afterwords we got free ice cream so Zach, Stephanie, Kaitlyn and I walked over and got some.
Wednesday classes started! They were all extremely boring because we just ran through syllabus's and shit.... hello high school. Things should be better though. There is a gay guy in my university seminar class and I decided we are going to be BFFS. lol My Basic Design class is a good group of kids and I think that will be a really good studio class. That is a good thing because that is probably where I will spend most of my time. I had dinner with my roomies that night which was a good bonding experience :) I went running and then went to bed.
Today (Thursday) I was late to my English class because I got sick in the bathroom while getting ready. I ate a ton of ice cream the night before so I think my stomach didn't agree with me. I've been trying to eat healthy and have been pretty successful with it. Zach said he would help me with it too, since he is a hottie with a body. lmao. But yeah, my Vis. Com teacher is a nut case, so I'm a bit concerned. I got out of class at 3 and have been sitting on the couch watching Americas Next Top Model since. haha
Tomorrow should be good. I have a ton of supplies I need to buy for my studios so Zach and I are going to go shopping. Then I am going to Ann Arbor with Molly for Devin's show!! I get to see my ENTIRE family and I am very excited for that. Aaron, Molly and I are going to dinner before hand. I will probably get back around 11:30 and then heading to Sigma Pi's Hoedown! Another frat party.... I think I might be in trouble. haha
I'll try to update more frequently so I am not stuck writing these 2000 word blogs.

Week 1 of college
So this blog is more for my own personal doings. If you happen to come across it, and read about what I am doing in college, then feel free to read a long.
I am an Architect major at LTU in Southfield, MI. This is my first year here and I am sooooo excited.
I came a week early for an architect workshop with Gretchen. It was 400 dollars but it was WORTH IT. I received a lot of supplies to use and got a head start on the program. We made a model house, drew and 2 point perspective house from a floor plan, learned about the different technologies we were going to use, and got tips and pointers for the year to come. I definitely had a lot to learn and still do. I feel better about the program though, now.
Since I was a week early there were not a lot of people here to hang out with and do stuff with and the program was only for freshman and transfer students. I spent a lot of time alone in my dorm and it definitely got lonely. I miss my friends a lot. I was the first one to leave so that makes it a little hard too. My mother has called EVERYDAY since I left. I talked to her for a half an hour on Wednesday but she called me again on Thursday and left a message saying she wanted to talk. She's something else. haha.
There were a group of us that hung out the first night; Lindsey, Niki, Amanda, Sami, and I. We had a lot of fun the first night but ever since then we never really clicked. well... THEY did, I didn't. I really don't know why I don't fit in with them. I thought I could be paranoid but I'm pretty good at reading people.
I thought that once the rest of the freshman got here and Zach I wouldn't have to see them anymore and just get my own life... but, they always seem to be around.
Zach met them and thinks they are cool (since they get along with everyone else, lol) and they were the only other girl freshman at the frat party last night. I think some of them might be rushing the same sorority as me. Its not like they are mean to me or anything, but it's just awkward. Hopefully things will get better.
So despite all that complaining I am having a really good time here. Those 4 girls don't affect me too much. I have been hanging out with Zach and his roommates all weekend and it is a blast. I'm really glad he goes here and is able to show me all around because he knows where the party is at. haha. His roommates are Sam, Kaitlyn, and Mike. They are all really awesome too.
Friday night I actually went to a party with Mike Voyt and boy oh boy was that interesting! I didn't now ANYONE except Mike. I don't even really remember half the night.
Saturday night Zach, Mike and a couple of their brothers (Adam, Alex, and Eric) went to backstreet, a gay club. I loved it up until the last hour. Since i was the only girl i got ditched at the last hour because everyone found someone to dance with. I made the best of it though and will probably go back with them if they ever do :)
Sunday the rest of the Freshman came in. My roommates are awesome and I think things are going to work out really well. No one leaves their door open so it's kind of weird and quiet. Hopefully people will catch on. Zach's Fraternity had a welcome back party that night at one of the houses. We pre-gamed in Zach's room with a whole bunch of people and then headed to the party around 10. It was a lot of fun, quarters, beer pong, dancing, you know the usual. I met some cute guys so that was a plus. The party ended around 2:30 so we went back to Zach's room to smoke hookah. We had the music playing and so it was loud. His C.L came by so we had to hide the hookah real fast. He came in and saw the bottles from our pre-gameing and then asked to see all of our i.d's. He went to go get a sheet of paper and Zach chased after him to talk. Meanwhile, Megan, Kaitlyn and I ran into the bedroom to "sleep". Zach is on good terms with the CL so he got him to forget about it. I was done after that So i just came back to my room to sleep.
Today, we were supposed to go to "discovery days" a freshman welcome thing. Alexis and I decided to sleep instead. hahaha. Tonight we have a floor meeting and then staff round up, whatever that is. Tomorrow is nothing and then classes start WEDNESDAY!! ahhh.
